I think the CoStar app is only available on iPad not even iPhone.

Also anyone test out any GIS apps like the one's from ESRI?

Datacomp or Real Wired products?

Use with Leica or other laser measures?

Dustin is so right stressing the importance of tech in the field. It is life-changing. I worked through multiple generations of equipment. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with upgraded RAM and processor is where I have landed. There are NO MORE APPS. I run full versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Cloud, appraisal software, websites, Adobe Pro, etc. It is definitely an investment, but paid for itself in a matter of months.

How you carry equipment is also important. There are cases for your hand to slip into a tablet. After a short time, it feels like an extension of your arm. I use a sling made for action photography for the Disto. The Surface is also a good camera.
