Ann joins us again discussing her article in the recent Appraisal Today on Big Data. We all know that Big Data is here to stay, but Ann tells us why appraiser data is the best kind of data.
I like the idea of not adjusting for decks, fireplaces, etc... The only additional feature that really can add value I think are Pole Barns. Everything else should be site, view, condition, quality, location and GLA / Room Count. I don't know of many buyers who decided on a house based on having a deck or a fireplace.
