Scott,
Drones with the correct sensors will definitely be able to give measurements. There are companies currently 3D modeling properties using drones.

Dustin,
Enjoyed the drone podcast and am very interested in drones. I too am a residential appraiser and do not currently see an application. I am wondering if drones have the capacity to measure a house, or even more cool would be to 3D measure a house.
